Brief Profile of the Founder
Ranga Rao Vuppu is the founder of Varaanga Engineers. He has more than two decades of rich experience in Testing, Certification and Safety Management in various sectors such as manufacturing, construction and infrastructure. He served as Head – Corporate HSE for prominent infrastructure companies in India and abroad. He was a visiting faculty for 'National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR)' for their Post-Graduation program in Construction Safety Management.
He is basically a graduate Mechanical Engineer from BITS, Pilani, and a post-graduate in Management from University of Virginia, USA. In addition, he has a Diploma in Industrial Safety, Certificate in Non-Destructive testing as 'ASNT- Level–II' and Lead Auditor OHSAS-18001.
Projects under his leadership have won 'National Safety Awards' for achieving Zero Accident/Incident through implementation of matured safety management systems:
1. “Suraksha Puraskar” (2 times) Awarded by the National Safety Council of India, Mumbai.
2. Vishwakarma Award - 2013 Awarded by the 'Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC), New Delhi
